Bind , wrong directory permissions?

Ive just setup bind on my computer in chrooted environment, i followed the guide in the arch wiki. When i check the errors.log file i keep seeing this line

Mar 19 08:11:25 lapsus named[14467]: the working directory is not writable

I have tried to do chown -R named:named /chroot/named , but it doesnt help.. is there anyway to check which directory has the wrong setting?

# chmod 770 /var/named

works to fix that for me but I don't know if this has any unintended undesirable consequences or not!
