share windows partition via ftp

hi guys
i`m setting up proftpd and it seems to be working ok, except i cant get it to let users view a folder on my windows partition.

i`ve tried binding it with;
mount --bind /windows/folder /home/ftp

which allows me to view from root but doesn`t show via an ftp client.

Re: share windows partition via ftp

maybe it's a permission thing?

do an ls -al and tell us what the permissions are for the folders and files.

Re: share windows partition via ftp

I know this is kind of obvious, but is there something in /windows/folder? it might be an empty directory or maybe you didn't mount /windows?
