Three Questions Regarding Conky

My three questions are as follows: 1. Why is it that when I try placing Conky in the upper right, it ends up in the lower left? 2. Is there a way to make Conky autostart with Gnome? 3. Is there a way to enlarge the size of the Conky window?

Here is my .conkyrc:

Re: Three Questions Regarding Conky

1. According to the documentation you should be using top_right
2. … logging_in
3. Set minimum_size to whatever you like, also experiment with maximum_width

Yeah, I figured that first part out - dumb me : P. Thanks for the second - I have tried altering the third, but it stays the same size..

Re: Three Questions Regarding Conky

This seems to be a repeat of your last conky/Gnome3 thread.

Perhaps rather than opening a new thread, you might want to read conky's excellent documentation and work it out from there?

And, as I pointed out last time, start with a .conkyrc that is a) minimal, and b) that you understand, and build up from there: there is no prize for geting it working faster at the expense of understanding why it is working at all...
