I did a pacman -Syu today and I think it has updated my codecs. Now i am unable to use hardware acceleration in any player, no problems when it is disabled.
VLC gives me a lot of these

Same problem here. Disabling ffh264vdpau in Smplayer is a temporary workaround.

Mplayer seems to work fine with the lastest update. Problem persists in VLC, though.
