can't connect to wireless with networkmanager

Hey all,

just got arch installed on my laptop. I had wpa_supplicant installed, but then switched to networkmanager.  With Networkmanager, I can browse the wifi hotspots, select one, or in my case add a hidden spot, and then password.  However, it seems I cannot connect to my home network, which is running WPA2, and the SSID is hidden.

I just keep getting the "Authentication required by wireless network" dialog box, asking for my wifi password.

I'm not sure where to look.

Check the wiki for different front-ends.  Try WICD or netcfg to see if it it networkmanager or your wireless card.

Can you clarify that?  That is not an either/or.  You must have wpa_supplicant in order to use WPA/WPA2.  Networkmanager automates wpa_supplicant.

They way that reads, it sounds like you removed wpa_supplicant.
