wifi-menu behavior modification

I use wifi-menu to scan for new networks and I'm pretty happy with it.  There's only one thing that annoys me, and I'm hoping there's a flag I can pass to change it.

When I open it, it scans for networks, and I choose a new one.  Then it asks me if I want to save it as a profile.  I say yes, and it closes, but does NOT connect me to it. I re-run it and connect and it works.

I'd love to have it connect in the first run.

Is there a way to do that?
