Just installed Awesome a few weeks ago. I'm working on a Bitcoin market/ticker app in Python and was able to get that working a custom widget to read prices.

Changed the theme and added some widget icons:

I must thank you for making such a nice config, I totally stole it and changed a couple of colors and hotkeys here and there, and I have a pretty neat setup really quick!
-- Mixer and player always float, tag 6 is only used when I work and don't have an external monitor
-- What's good about this config is the delimiter widget, by default the runner is too close to taglist which is annoying

My initial awesome configuration and definitely more to come in future.

I have also a question hoping someone can help me out. I would like to align text in tasklist to center, I assume it requires some changes in awesome library files but didn't figure that one out yet. Thanks in advance for any advice!
[SOLVED] I had to add single line in common.lua
tb:set_align("center")
in function
common.list_update(...)
