yes. There was also an Easter egg hunt in trying to find out which parts were related to April fools and which were not in the 4.1 release.

Re: Pacman 4.1 Released

I think we should stop having packages, and go with just one - archsystem - and have that autoupdate - with a system with pre-set desktop-envirorment and applications and a general configuration that "fits everyones usecase", it should contain all drivers and all daemons/systemd-units running (just in case someone wants to do something and don't know how) tongue

Can pacman-colored be modified? What if I wanted green instead of blue?

It is written in C, so I assume you can probably just modify the source and then recompile.

Re: Pacman 4.1 Released

If you read Allan's blog post, you'd know, that it is currently not possible to configure the color. I suspect this will be in the future.

After pacman chomps down on the ghosts, they lose their color anyhow and the eyeballs go floating around.

Is pacman-contrib in testing? Is pacman 4.1 in stable?

Because you have not unqouted the option in your pacman.conf?

Yes, there is.  Have you ensured there is not a pacman.conf.pacnew file floating about?

What about SyncFirst option? I had to use this command for linux-headers update before at all. How it's resolved now?

Re: Pacman 4.1 Released

Read http://projects.archlinux.org/pacman.git/tree/NEWS if you're confused about the changes in pacman, although Allan made it clear on April 2nd what was a joke and what is for real, so you can just revisit http://allanmcrae.com/2013/04/pacman-4-1-released/

All righty then. So what was the technical reason behind removing SyncFirst? #26445 doesn't explain this to well. I always thought that's an important option?
