Re: Archlinux User's World Map

I've created some perl and bash scripts which autoupdate the map now.  So you should see regular updates, probably once a day.

Generating the maps is pretty cpu intensive at the moment, so I set fcron to run updates only when my system load is REALLY low.  Basicly, the maps will be updated the first chance my workstation gets when I'm not sitting at it doing some work. wink

As to europe.  It's getting kind of crowded, so I'm going to start generating maps for various regions of europe in a few days.  I'll try and expand the europe map to include crete though. smile

Re: Archlinux User's World Map

I have added myself for work and for home.

I could list all the machines I have installed, but the map of the South of England would get very crowded.

Kind regards

Yeah, right! I'd better go and translate everything into British English, post haste! Fricking "color"? "Mom"? "Gasoline"? NOT ON MY WATCH!

I think you will find that is English. Not British Engish, or anything else, just English. I am English and that is the language I speak. I suspect you speak American English.

Re: Archlinux User's World Map

I'm actually from Berkshire. Of course we know that our English is the One True English, pretty much by definition (since it actually comes from England)... but I'm pretty sure that the Americans just call their language "English" as well, so there is the need to call our English "British English" when we speak to them, or things get confusing.

Perhaps we should just point out that they we speak English whilst they speak American English.

Maybe he's sailing around the world in a yacht. Those are his current co-ordinates!
