dhcpcd or netctl or netctl-ifplugd or ...?

Which method is recommended  for dynamic IP configuration?

The Beginners Guide lists all three but no real hint on choosing one. So the dhcpcd method seems by far the easiest (on command).

The official installation guide says that dhcpcd is already running for all interfaces, which is a bit contradictory.

Just go with dhcpcd for now. Then learn about netctl at your convenience and decide if you want to try it.

This is probably referring to the live environment, not the installed system.

But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist.
