[SOLVED] Problems installing grub-customizer package

I'm trying to install grub-customizer from the AUR, but (during the make) I keep getting errors:

/usr/include/gtkmm-2.4/gtkmm/main.h:151:39: error: ‘Glib::OptionContext’ has not been declared
   Main(int& argc, char**& argv, Glib::OptionContext& option_context);
                                       ^
/usr/include/gtkmm-2.4/gtkmm/main.h:204:42: error: ‘Glib::OptionContext’ has not been declared
   static void add_gtk_option_group(Glib::OptionContext& option_context, bool open_default_display = true);

I've installed this package with no problems before, not sure what the problem is now.

any suggestions for a fix?

It would help if you'd share what the package is to start with....

You should post to the AUR page so the maintainer knows that the pkg contains errors. I can reproduce your error as well when trying to build that package.

This problem was reproduced by others trying to install the package.

This is your second thread about this issue (and I don't see anything new here; why start another one?) and somebody else opened one too. Did you notify the maintainer of the AUR package as suggested in your previous thread (I don't see a comment on the AUR page, but maybe you emailed)?

serpentiz, I see you created another thread in the AUR section, probably at the suggestion of graysky. In the future, it would be better to report your own thread to the moderators and ask us to please move it. We usually get to it in short order.

I had this problem also and it was fixed by downgrading gtkmm from version 2.24.3-1 to version 2.24.2-2. From there, the build worked.
