Samba, KDE, Smplayer

smplayer can't open video from samba share in KDE. When I try to open file from dolphin, smplayer starts but nothing played. If I try to open with menu file-open it says: "You can only select local files".

VLC works with samba, but hardware acceleration doesn't work with intel video, and I use mplayer-vaapi

Any ideas? Thanks.

How did you access samba share ? Via kio or mounted somewhere ? If you mount that share does this helps ?
