Hi,
I have a private server at home (used as HTPC, NAS and web server).
since a week (maybe more) it stops itself.
It don't know if it is randomally or some thing like hibernate, ...
Is there a log which can explain the reason ?
When it appens the power led is off and press the power button is ineffective. I have to hold on the power button (or cut the power off from the power supply) for few seconds, and then I can start it normally.
I'm sure it's not a warming problem, and I suspect a slpeed por hibernate action but I don't know out to verify my thought.
thanks.

What software/OS is it using/based on, is it a self-built system or pre-setup?

Please provide more information about the server; presumably it is an up-to-date Arch machine?
Can you SSH in when it is unresponsive?
Moving to N,S & P...

Sorry,
yes, it's an up-to-date Arch x86_64, with xbmc autostart (but xbmc has no rigths to shutdown, reboot, hibernate, ...).
I use the LTS kernel (from official repo).
No I can't ssh it when it is stopped.
It is based on a intel core e7500 with geforce 9400 integradted graphic card. I use the proprietary drivers for the IGP.

I know this problem, happenend to me somewhere last year; you are in need for a new power supply

There is nothing in the journal explain why this appends.

I never thought about that.
I have an Antec Neo HE 550, which has 6~7 years old. I use it on my server for a year now.
Thank you for the answer.

I bought a new power supply, but since I made the purchase (and don't even install it) everything goes well.
I think it came from the IGP warming up, I changed the thermal paste, will see...
