Hi ARCH Forum,
there is a problem with my journal and as a consequence with some systemctl status logs.
When I issue a command to show the journal/log, it just repeats one tiny section from the log, over and over again. For example, 'sudo journalctl' repeats some entrys from April 7th, 5 p.m to 7 p.m.
It seems to crash and doesn't react except to ctrl+c.
When I try
sudo journalctl | grep ssh
it shows a few entrys but is hanging at the same day at the same time
sudo journalctl | tail
doesn't show anything
I've never seen anything like it. I've already tried to look up the problem, without success. I don't have this problem on my server or on my laptop. The systems are up to date.
Help would be very much appreciated!

Yes, it seems that way. The URL with additional comments is 404.
What does he mean by:
"I backed up/moved var/log/journal which seems to have 'solved' the issue."
Shall I backup and delete/move (where?) the content of /var/log/journal ?

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64566 works fine, it was only pasted with an extra space between 'cg' and 'i' :-)
I'm not sure, but I think he used the backup/move as a way to "restart" journal logging.
Just move it anywhere e.g. ~/.oldlog.

Thank you very much! This worked quite well.
I hope it doesn't occure again!

This is not my first question, but I still don't know how to mark it as solved.
