[SOLVED]NetworkManager issue

To avoid a necro bump of this:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=150390
I thought I would create this thread to gain some answers.

Firstly I do not have NetworkManager installed.
Secondly why are these showing up in my log/journal?

See system logs and 'systemctl status dbus-org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.service' for details.

why is systemd trying to initiate it?
why do I have these service files installed without the package as that makes no sense, I have not used Network Manager since leaving Xubuntu for Arch!!!!!!

Re: [SOLVED]NetworkManager issue

Are you using something like GNOME which integrates with NetworkManager?

Re: [SOLVED]NetworkManager issue

sorry for the noise, after some poking around with pacman it appears it was installed as a dependency when I tried gdm in the past sad
