Theme: Numix

Trying dockbarx and whiskermenu plugins. (I was not using the dockbarx stuff, but had mostly the same just using the standart panel plugin).

Very nice theme. Didn't see it on xfce-look.org. Do you mind sharing where you got it?

Nice theme indeed, looks like a more polished Simplix (Elegant Brit).

Re: Show off your XFCE desktop!

Yup that's the one. I was using one of the Mediterranean themes but saw that one in a ubuntu blog ( http://www.webupd8.org/2013/07/slick-gt … -with.html ) and I'm liking it.
I feel the desktop faster than before, I just love murrine based themes smile

Re: Show off your XFCE desktop!

I can't ever make up my mind between a nice, clean and polished theme like Numix or a Dark theme. I'm currently using a dark, but this is nice. Kind of reminds of the my old linux mint box.

I also found this version yesterday that uses blue instead of red and I'm liking it more. Also contains a theme for the notifications.

Re: Show off your XFCE desktop!

Simple XFCE desktop with Faenza icons and Orta gtk theme, tweaked with a arch logo as the menu, darkend the panel, and a 'dock' (its really a panel, but I made it behave like a dock) and a simple conky:

To install faenza:

pacman -S faenza-icon-theme

I'm using conky and emerald. The emerald theme is Ambient Empire.
The dock is avant-window-navigator-bzr from the AUR, using clearlooks dark theme and the lucidio style.
My GTK theme is the Darker Theme, I found it on xfce-look.com.
Icons are Faenza.
The background is here.

No! It´s just xfce and xfwm4. I´m using plank and the elementary theme for latest gtk (I made it, lots of bugs!) You can find it here: http://crustpanda.deviantart.com/art/El … -392144149, in that screenshot you can find how to make the panel look like wingpanel as well.

Wow, this is the look I've been aiming for since switching to Xfce, extremely clean and sharp, not too dark, not too light. Thanks for sharing!

I've been impressed by the work of the Elementary-OS devs lately but found it too unstable/unconfigurable to my liking... Thus throwing me back to Arch and XFCE once more. The looks and behaviour of Elementary can be somewhat mimicked though... And the above is my current try at doing so...

GTK-theme and XFWM-theme are Greybird with modifications (bold panel font, color tweaks) and the wallpaper can be found on Interfacelift. The dock I'm using is AWN with a slightly modified Smoked theme (comes with AWN by default)... The last tweak major tweak is the Whisker Menu plugin you see as my main menu...
