Edit: I replaced all the gcc with the multilib stuff and 'makepkg' ran fine. However, it's still running. It's been running for like 15 minutes. Wtf at this program? Why is it taking so long? It's compiling different things but holy crap, this is too long. Is it like this for anyone else? I've never had a makepkg take so long before O_o

This is normal.  Wine is a (relatively) big, complex program.  It takes a long time to compile.

It built fine for me, and works great with SD video.   However HD video never plays.   I have it selected to choose HD but it never does.   Is this expected behavior?

Is the repo dead?  It would be nice to use without having to rebuild entire app everytime there is an update.   Takes quite a long time

I saw this error too.

I then installed from AUR instead:

first: wine-browser-installer
then: netflix-desktop

all is well

my wife or i are still using it just about everyday.  just remember that each time it says it needs an update you need to delete the .netflix-desktop folder out of your home directory then rerun it, then your golden.

please give it some good votes so it can get into mainstream and more support.
