[SOLVED] Xen: bridge doesn't come up on boot

Hello,

I followed this tutorial here to install Xen on my arch system:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xen

Everything is fine except for the bridge that doesn't come up on boot. I get this error:

netctl@xenbridge\x2ddhcp.service has failed

systemctl status and journalctl don't give useful details.

My guess is because of the network interface renaming. My eth0 gets renamed to eno1.

If I start manually the bridge (netctl start xenbridge-dhcp) once the system is booted, it works fine.

Any idea?

Thank you.

Pitou!

I found the problem. I was using networkmanager instead of dhcpcd. Removed networkmanager and activated dhcpcd, since I'm setup using using dhcp. Works fine now.

Maybe we could update the wiki with a little warning.
