searching remote desktop solution

Hi,
My archlinux server runs one xserver that should be accessibe from another pc in the local network.
I DON'T want to start another X session and access it via vnc. There are programs running that should be accessed remotely.

I found hints that remark the programs xvfb / xrdp and rdesktop. But I was not successful letting them work together.

Please help me.

That's what X11vnc is for:

x11vnc allows one to view remotely and interact with real X displays (i.e. a display corresponding to a physical monitor, keyboard, and mouse) with any VNC viewer. In this way it plays the role for Unix/X11 that WinVNC plays for Windows.

xpra-winswitch from the AUR allows you to run only the applications you want to show up on another machine.  It doesn't even require the xserver to be running on the host.
