Hello,
I went away for over 2 weeks and I did a pretty large upgrade on my return (almost 900 MB). Everything seems to work well but I get a weird error message when I open the gnome terminal and I can't use it (no prompt). I can use xterm, but can't use the Konsole either (no prompt here either). Here's what I get when I launch it from xterm:
grantpt failed: unallowed operation On the terminal a red banner repeats the same message and also notes that there was an error during the thread creation of this process. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the termial but I have the same error message. Any clue?
Thanks!

Indeed the link suggested by Karol was the right one. Removing /dev/pts from fstab works.
thanks!

Actually, the thread posted by thegala also provides the same solution https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 4#p1312644
