Linux to Windows VPN connection for online LAN gaming

I'm using windows primary for gaming online with my best friend, using tunngle on both computers to make a VPN the easy way.

So i wanted to know how can i get rid of windows and configure the same but using linux on my PC and windows on hers, and connect each other for playing doom3 for example.
