Firefox + java applet =________________

I've been meaning to post about this for a while, but I haven't needed to use any applets until today....

When I load a page in firefox that contains an applet, the applet loads but doesn't display. I can see the applet's outline flash to visible for a second when the page first starts loading, but then that's it. :?

I've got j2re 1.5 installed, and ffox 1.5 .

Any ideas for a fix?
