deadbeef crashes if paused, stopped or song changes

so, I finally found a music player that I'm ok with (deadbeef), then this happens..

it starts and plays one song fine, but if I stop it, pause it, try to switch a song, or the song stops and deadbeef is supposed to eiter stop or jump to next song it crashes with this:

Segmentation Fault
backtrace() returned 3 addresses
deadbeef() [0x403780]
/usr/lib/libc.so.6(+0x35240) [0x7f7ff1cc3240]
/usr/lib/deadbeef/adplug.so(_Unwind_GetLanguageSpecificData+0) [0x7f7ff18177d0]

anyone else had this issue, or any idea what could cause it?

Re: deadbeef crashes if paused, stopped or song changes

Today I tried to open deadbeef (after months of satisfaction) and my problem was similar to yours.
After a few attempts, DeadBeef refuses to show itself AT-ALL,
(only for a millisecond flash and immediately closed, every time I try it now)

The terminal output near the error is:

Segmentation Fault
backtrace() returned 48 addresses

Here is the list of those addresses, if it make sense to anyone:

Of course I cannot use that one-yead-old solution and remove all of those *.so files... (?)

I'll migrate now to some ncurses player but I've used to and like that deadbeef, and will be happy to get it back...
