Can't connect to WiFi via NetworkManager

Hey,

took me a whole day to complete the Arch installation again.... smile Still having a lot of issues like always.

Now I am in Cinnamon. I installed the network-manager-applet and gnome-keyring, but when I try to connect it doesn't prompt me for a password. I can type in the password in network setting, but I still cannot connect.

Any ideas?

Re: Can't connect to WiFi via NetworkManager

It does work in Gnome though...

Edit: Well Gnome prompts me for a key. But can't connect either...

Re: Can't connect to WiFi via NetworkManager

When I run nm-applet in terminal i get the following output:

(nm-applet:884) libnotifiy-WARNING **: Failed to connect to proxy

** (nm-applet:884): WARNING **: Failed to show notification: GDBus.Error.or.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.Notifications was not provided by any .service files

I am not using a proxy though.

The GDBus error looks similar to this https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 7#p1339387 .

But I have gnome-keyring installed...
