[SOLVED] wifi disconnects at boot

Hi,
I am having a strange problem with my wifi connection via manual netctl being disconnected after a few seconds upon boot. It connects fine while starting up and then when my terminal login prompt appears it disconnects. I feel it may be conflicting with my squid+dansguardian combination. It starts working when I restart the netctl and restart squid and dansguardian but I tried disabling both squid and DG and the problem persists. Also if I just restart netctl alone, I seem to only get a half working connection for example: I can update software but not from the AUR because of a 'curl' error, I also cannot browse the internet. This occurs whether or not squid and DG are running. Very strange problem. It worked fine up until day or two ago.

Can anyone assist me in solving this? I don't know what files to post. Let me know and I will post them here.

Thanks smile

You need to at least look though your logs and see if you can find clues.  You should not expect that others will simply tell you to "post X" and then trawl through them for you.  You need to do a bit of the leg work and see if you can come up with a starting point of debugging.

Generating a new profile and deleting the existing one seems to have fixed it! big_smile
