Hmm... I don't get an error when syncing. Can you `pacman -Syy` again to verify it is working for you as well?

Yep, working now. Earlier, it was returning an html file that said the site was suspended and for the owner to call a phone number.

In the sources (http://repo-ck.com/PKG_source/linux-ck/) I can find all packages, but how can I compile them for specific CPU (in this case ivybridge) ? Is thre a flag in the files where I have to modify them or something?
I really need an old version, because as many users I am having this issue https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=171736
Thank you

Any idea why libreoffice is crashing all the time with nehalem-ck kernel when i try to safe my document? the normal kernel works fine. And could it be that my kde problem (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=171964) has something in common with that libreoffice problem? I am running stock kernel now and so far i had no kde-troubles either.

Not sure, please use this thread for issues relating only to the repo or packages in the future.

3.11.7 is a module breaker, at least for virtualbox. Graysky, would you mind recompiling the corresponding kernel modules in the repo?

Is it? The md5sums in /usr/lib/modules/3.11.x-1-ck/modules.symbols have not changed from 3.11.6-1 to 3.11.7-1[1] which I thought meant that the corresponding modules built against 3.11.6-1 would be fine with 3.11.7-1 as well. Odd. I'll rebuild now. Check back in 15-20 min.

EDIT: I need to look back to see when I built vbox modules (was it against 3.11.6-1 in other words).
EDIT2: It was absolutely built against 3.11.6-1 so I am confused; perhaps I am misunderstanding why one would calculate the checksum of /usr/lib/modules/3.11.x-1-ck/modules.symbols if not to inform whether or not a rebuild of corresponding modules is required.
EDIT3: Please do not reply to my open questions in this thread... I opened a new thread for that purpose. Thanks.

In my system all work ok, so I suspect the problem is from Harey side
Well, I suppose that this is somekind of signature, no?

As I said before, it's only the virtualbox module, it worked before and after the recompile it works again. Go figure. Thank you, Graysky.

I was getting "Failed to insert 'vboxnetadp': Invalid argument" before the rebuild, inserted fine after the rebuild. Thanks graysky.

Thanks for reporting. Calculating the checksum of modules.sysbols is an effective method for triggering rebuilds of external modules, but it is not 100 % effective[1], so just like the main ARCH packages, from time-to-time, users will have to report that the modules are broken for me to know (again, just like the ARCH packages occasionally need the same rebuild, just search flyspray and you'll find tickets like this).

Hey graysky, after spending some time on the vanilla side of Arch, I decided to give your repo another try.
But I don't even get to download linux-ck-sandybridge, instead I am greeted with this error message:
error: failed retrieving file 'linux-ck-sandybridge-3.11.7-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz' from repo-ck.com : Maximum file size exceeded
The rest (headers, nvidia) is downloaded successfully.
A quick search of the forums brought this up: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=141001

@Sano- Odd... try `pacman -Syy` and then attempt the install. Building 3.11.8-1 now by the way. ETA 4-1/2 h for all packages.

Hey graysky, is there ETA on ck 3.12?

If this is still needed the problem is not the kernel but KDE.
If you have kde integration for libreoffice make sure that you have "Use libreoffice dialogs" checked in settings -> general.
Hope that helps

Hey,
from 3.11.2 to 3.11.8, the ck kernel hangs CPU at boot, leaving no trace or any sort of output to debug the issue. Proved AUR packatges, generic and mine ivybridge, all with equals result. 3.11-1 ivybridge run perfectly

@botika - I don't understand your post. Does 3.11.8-1-ck that you build from the AUR untouched (i.e. no tweaks to the PKGBUILD) boot?

I'm unable to update my system because it seems that nvidia-ck-sandybridge is out of date and depands on an old version of nvidia-utils. It expects version 325.15, but the current version in 331.20. Here's the output of 'pacman -Syu':
:: Starting full system upgrade...
resolving dependencies...
looking for inter-conflicts...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: nvidia-ck-sandybridge: requires nvidia-utils=325.15

@ripps - Yes, I had to modify a patch to work with 3.11.8 since 331.20 seems to be a 3.12 native. Try now.

now it's installed 3.11.8 of repo-ck ivybridge, but proved aur 3.11.2-8, pkbuild intacted; modify bfq option, local .config and modprobed_db at various forms, and repo-ck generic and ivybridge 3.11.2-8. Last version running is 3.11-1 repo-ck ivybridge. Sorry for my english. Thanks for your work

3.11.8 AUR PKBUILD _1k_HZ_ticks=y, _NUMAdisable=y, _use_current=y, before install 3.12.1 kernel core repo. Boot perfectly but, after desinstaled broadcom-wl and recompile and install broadcom-wl-ck aur, module wl not run.
