I downloaded .iso file from Arch website; slow burned it to CD-RW two different times, with two different burners. I put the CD into my drive and reboot the computer; then I hit F2 when the BIOS menu was loading up, to change the boot sequence to boot CD-drive first. Hit Esc and save. Then it returned to BIOS menu, like normal, started to proceed like usual, went to a black screen with one of these '_' under dash symbols blinking, then presented the message: "ISOLINUX 6.02 ETCD", and did nothing, basically looked frozen. I restarted my computer a few times and kept getting the same result.
I have a Dell Dimension 3000 desktop.
My partition scheme is:
sda1: current OS (Bodhi Linux)
sda2: empty
sda3: swap space
And my bootloader I'm not sure about, maybe it dont like the Arch CD?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How did you create the CD? Did you check the md5sum of the iso after you downloaded it?
I have a Dell Dimension 3000 that is able to boot from USB -- is this an option for you? If you try it, do not use Unetbootin to copy the iso to USB.
Also, search the forum for the error you received; others have had this problem.
