It looks like somebody used my sources (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=161608) and build a nice standalone executable.

Worked out of the box here.

Maybe make an aur package for it?

Just build it from source. Don't use prebuilt things. Put your results into AUR.

There is https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rigsofrods-hg/ up for grabs :-)

Alright looking into this a bit, the website responsible for making the above file available is:

I already compiled it months ago and put the results in our archlinuxgr repo (which is down for the moment ). And thats because, this game (stable version) is almost impossible to compile and need a lot of work. Also all my pkgbuilds are available in my git repo.

I talk about the stable version of this game (0.38.66) and not the -hg

Anyway, i just found this and wanted to share it.

Yeah, the devs of this game are idiots for making it so hard to even build.
