[Solved (downgrading) ] Apache can't see files

I have Drupal in my /home/public_html/site/site. If I try to access it via http://site.dev/ I just get

Index of /

[ICO]	Name	Last modified	Size	Description

But if I visit it via http://localhost/~ventil/site/site/ I get

Server error!

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

I figured out that if I remove these lines it kinda starts to work, but not fully ok

This worked for me before the latest apache upgrade. I remember I had these issues before and I somehow managed to solve them, but I guess I am more stupid now, because I am not able solve this anymore.

There's quite a lot of stuff posted about this already. At the very least you'll need to replace things like "Order allow,deny" with the new directives.  Look at the existing threads and pacman's output, which I'm sure would have directed you to the relevant information too.

I've checked those threads before I posted this one, because I didn't find any answer to my issue.

I saw that thing about "Order allow,deny" in some other thread but I think that's about phpmyadmin which works fine for me. Here is that post https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 3#p1389623

Also, if your application (be it phpMyAdmin, Wordpress or in my case Laravel) makes use of mode re-write you have to re-enable it.
It is now disabled by default.

I couldn't solve it so I just downgraded to apache 2.2. Thx everyone for help though.
