Hi,
since Bluetooth reverse tethering seems to be too far to reach shorty, I tried it via USB.
As I plugged in my phone on USB the command "ip a" showed a new network interface which should be my phone. So I tried to build a bridge with brctl between my laptops ethernet interface and the new one. But, while I am doing so the new interface disappeared from the list, while the laptops interfaces remain.
Am I thinking the wrong direction to? What could wipe this simple solution this way?
Is there any other way to share internet connection via usb to a phone?
I tried an AndroidTool.exe from ReverseTethering_3.19 in win7 and it worked. But in wine it doesn't. The usb device is not properly recognized and listed in the program.
So, if you have a hint howto solve this, I could at least use wine with the AndroidTool instead.
Please help. Thanks.
