The baloo bug seems related to xapian:

The problem I'm experiencing is the same as this: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=168524 with the only difference that I'm using baloo while that is a KDE 4.11 bug. I never using nepomuk, so I did not migrate anything to baloo but started from scratch.

Anyway, I checked bko and found out that a bug with the same backtrace as mine already exists, so I didn't report it.

Hi there!!
I got this bug since time ago that makes me turn back to Gnome: notifications bump volume at 100% even if I set it at lower level and if I changed "flat-volume" option to "no".
As a red is because of knotify4 bug...the question is: is there a workaround available??
The one I took is to use alsa..
