Install windows 7 after arch

have arch installed on my laptop.
having trouble partitioning my hard drive to install windows 7.
how to shrink my home partition to create space for ntfs.
also i know that windows 7 will overwrite mbr over grub, how do i reconfigure my grub afterward.

• Install Windows 7 in a virtual environment. That way you dont have to deal with the MBR being overwritten. Also the added advantage is that you can have both OSes up at the same time to exchange data between them. You also don't need to shrink the partitions etc etc

  OR

• If you do dual boot, you can use the live CD to re-install grub and configure it again to chainload Windows from it. You can use GParted live to shrink the partitions and prepare the drive for the Windows Installation.
