XFCE with blackbird theme and elementary-xfce-icons (dark) from shimmer project.
desktop background picture is stolen here and reworked a bit to fit landscape-oriented laptop screen.

running apps: ROXterm & google chrome minimized, wmmoonclock & wmnd in wm-dock, skype & dropbox in systray.

Have you ever read Linux is Bad Ass? Its by Brian Lunduke, he makes a heck of a point as to why its stupid to call it "gnu/linux"

No i haven't but i will now
To be honest i haven't thought to much about the message and just use this wallpaper because of the colors

Love your conky. Need to configure one for myself soon.

Been "Arching" my older laptop the past few days.

XFCE With some normal themes nothing fancy except for the one custom color xfce4-wavelan-plugin in my xfce-panel. Gonna add an conky at the top across the screen and lower that bar a few pixels. Desktop wallpaper changes every 10 minutes too.
