Hello,
I would like to know if it's possible to play songs through Media Library, and if I, for example, choose second song in the album then ncmpcpp could play all songs from that album from selected song to the end of the album. I don't like to only select album in media library and listen it in the playlist and to have to clean playlist all the time.
Thanks in advance

create a playlist of the songs that you would like to listen to ![]()
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

thanks Inxsible, but I mostly listen to whole albums. I am somehow an album nazi, let's say that if I play album from different genres one after another I don't like to see them together in playlist ![]()

There is a fix for that. Create multiple playlists. One for each album. ![]()
Why make it more complicated ? I guess I am just trying to understand the logic of your workflow.

Cleaning the playlist is easy. Just press "c" before adding the new album. Maybe ncmpcpp could support something a "replace playlist with selected items" command, but for just one additional keypress I don't think it is really necessary.
Edit: It is also possible to add a visible separator between albums in a playlist. That might satisfy your desire for order, too.
