uninstall while booting from the CD

i faced a freez while booting after installing gnome , i can't access the terminal any way , i can boot from the cd 
starting from this point can i uninstall gnome and reverse what was done before the last reboot

Yes.

Boot from the installation disc and chroot into your broken system.

Or don't chroot, and just use pacman's -r flag to point to your (mounted) root partition.
