@clfarron4 Not not runing LVM not LIKS but with the exeptions of the architecture references and LVM,LUKS refs too all the other look exactly like my panic
Analising you screenshots look like (for me) that not initialized completly, so maybe only maybeee a little delay could do something.
@graysky you are patching using v7r3 or v7r2 for the newer 3.14??
The AUR page says v7r3 since 3.13.11-2.
EDIT: Beaten to it.

Claire is fine.
Problems? I have dysgraphia, so clear and concise please.

On my x86 netbook, linux-ck-atom 3.14.3-1 doesn't boot, 3.13 was booting okay. On my x86 desktop, linux-ck-k8 3.14.3-1 doesn't boot and 3.13 wasn't booting either. The cause seems to be a kernel panic mentioning smp_send_reschedule.
Anyone has anything to say about that? I generally prefer BFS to CFS and BFQ to CFQ, but sooner or later I revert to mainline, because such stuff bites me.

No idea, ck-atom package set running on an Atom 330 works fine.

Thanks, graysky. Turned out it was grub's fault.
I'm sure you will be happy to get a report of a repo issue:

I'm on i686. And nvidia-ck-337.12-4-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz has a suspicious date in your repo.
Offline
Yes, I had to rebuild that package [nvidia-ck-337.12-1.tar.pkg.xz] after the main set was built to fix the bad sig problems. That's why its date is several days later than the rest. As to why the old copy of x86_64 is in i686, that was my mistake when copying it over I suspect. I have deleted it and reindexed so pure x86_64 and i686 are separated as they should be. Thanks for the report.

Try forcing a refresh `pacman -Syy` then try the install. Pacman may offer to delete the old pkg.tar.xz which is fine but will require you to run the install command twice.
This did the trick. Thanks!

There is a new ARCH kernel in testing that has backported a patch for a vulnerability in the kernel (CVE-2014-0196).

Thanks, I will apply later this afternoon,

Simpler to just upgrade to 3.14.4 now.

ck-k10 not boot... kernel panic :S
We're going to need more information that kernel panic if we're going to go anywhere here.
Do you have any photos of the actual panic, so we can work out what is going on please?
What kernel version are you using, and are you getting kernel panics with the kernel from [core]?
Does it happen when you perform a specific action? Or are they random?
Curveball: Also are you using the BFQ disk scheduler with elevator=bfq flag?

dunkles, if you're using grub, make sure your ck entry has the initrd line.

Hi Graysky,
Just to let you know, I've been experiencing the same problem reported a couple of pages back for the last few kernel updates (possibly as far back as a month)
error: failed retrieving file 'linux-ck-sandybridge-3.14.4-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz' from repo-ck.com : transfer closed with 37984315 bytes remaining to read---] 31%
I get speeds varying wildly from 150-900kb/s, then it just cuts off. There's no timeout or anything. Resuming works fine, so it's not a major problem, I just thought I'd let you know.

@WorMzy - Yes, it is godaddy. I actually think they are trying to drop me as a customer by intentionally doing this shit since I am in the unlimited plan but am moving so much data on a monthly basis. Nothing we can do about it aside from resuming the xfer unfortunately.

Hello all,
My wireless connection keeps crashing under linux-ck as described here - https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1415693
Is there a better place to take it other than comment on con's blog?
Offline
Not sure about that, adam. Did you post on his blog? You can also email him if no replies... he is pretty good about contacting people.

@jackwild, this thread is about the [repo-ck], not the AUR PKGBUILDs. You should post this in the comments of the linux-ck package in the AUR rather than here.

Well I'm not geting more panics since my last message so I think the panics are fixed, but I will keep an eye on it and keep the logs and infos only in case...
Well, I suppose that this is somekind of signature, no?
