[solved] skype audio device not recognized since update

Since the last update of Skype [4.3.0.37] my audio is no longer recognized and I only get a "virtual device".
Both the mic and speakers don't work.
Sound is working fine otherwise for other applications.

I didn't find anything on the web about this.
Has anyone else experienced this and/or has a solution perhaps?

Skype changed to PA.

Thank you. I resolved this issue this way:
install pulseaudio: pacman -S pulseaudio
start it: pulseaudio --start

Skype changed to PA.
