It's definitely not fixed yet, as of 2.99.912-2, the problem persists:
$ glxgears
Running synchronized to the vertical refresh. The framerate should be
approximately the same as the monitor refresh rate.
intel_do_flush_locked failed: Invalid argument
Downgrading xf86-video-intel to 2.99.911-2 workarounds the problem for me.

This is also broken for me, with 3.15.6 and xf86-video-intel 2.99.914 (from [testing]), on an x4500MHD.
Anything trying to use OpenGL crashes after suspend/resume with the error 'intel_do_flush_locked failed: Invalid argument'
This includes games (supertuxkart, minecraft, minetest, assaultcube etc) and other software (Krita, Firefox with WebGL).

After suspend some games (torcs, speeddreams, widelands) and mpv fail, for example mpv:
[vo/opengl/x11] X11 error: GLXBadFBConfig
[vo/opengl] Could not create GL3 context. Retrying with legacy context.
intel_do_flush_locked failed: Invalid argument
Mplayer also fails with
X11 error: BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)

now (probably, after upgrading to linux 3.16 or intel-dri 10.2.5-1) I always have the error
intel_do_flush_locked failed: Invalid argument
not only after suspend, so I cannot run OpenGL-apps.
and I have the error on kernel boot:
I have the Dell inspiron 11z laptop, Mobile Intel GM45 Express Chipset

Yep, I can confirm this

a little update: one fix for the problem is in the kernel 3.17-rc1. The first few suspends and wake ups worked for me.
I'll set this thread to [solved] after the kernel 3.17 being in the arch repos

Kernel 3.16.4-1 works for me now (Thinkpad T400).
