Give the results of the following:

uname -a

and also answer "when was the last time you did a full system update?" and provide the contents of the pacman.log from when you installed deepin.

@@NIXKnight, all that looked normal at first blush. I am not on my Arch machine right now as I'm at work, but I'll try to check on the package versions when I get home. FWIW, I installed deeping a couple of days ago, but didn't use startdde. I used LightDM (as it was already installed). Everything worked fine. I uninstalled it the next day, but will probably go back to it when it matures.

Here is some food for though. Using:

pacman -Syy

is not the safest way to install stuff. It's always best to make sure the system is up to date first/recently, then install the desired package(s). Thusly:

pacman -Syu

Sorry for the late reply. Recently I added FaSheng (he's one of the Deepin developers) to my arch-deepin project page in OBS and he's also maintaining and improving the packages for arch.

He already made quite a few changes... so, there's no more 'deepin-webkit' package, got renamed to libdeepin-webkit... plus many other improvements.

p.s. Also when installing from OBS you can also try removing packages from cache and re-download  because the code that would 'bump' $pkgrel field in PKGBUILD isn't there for arch in OBS-build. ;-)
So, even though the changes are being made frequently they don't show as updates in pacman unless $pkgver changes. It's a downside of using OBS _service (for archlinux users, anyway ;-)) to download git snapshots and update $pkgver field in PKGBUILD file.

So I've installed by pacman with no problem. But after reboot my laptop and start deepin it's look ok, but I cant use my mouse in desktop like click in some icons (deepin-menu) or drag (as tutorial request) and I got stuck in desktop demonstration. I've tried it several times, deleting all my ~/.config/"deepin-stuffs"* and ~/.cache/"deepin-stuffs" and restart but without success. The other thing dock isn't working... Is there a way to check what's happening?

Am I doing something wrong?

No, the tutorial didn't work for me either. the computer just doesn't respond to mouse clicks in the tutorial. I just hard-rebooted and skipped it the next time through.

So, after I tried once again skipping the tutorial I have no dock (when I check in terminal show that it's running) and I can't click in deepin-menu (I can call deepin-menu with mouse in border left or typing SUPER_L, but after appear the icons I can't click  drag or something else).

This is a little bit strange because I can do everything in deepin-control-center in corner right.

Is there some advice?b

Well, I didn't have that issue. The menu and everything else worked fine -- just the intro "tutorial" was hosed. If it helps, I was running the latest updates and have an nVidia card. (I mention this only in case it is an issue with drivers or something. I doubt that's the case.)

Yeah, that desktop demonstration didn't worked for me as well... best to just skip it for time being.

The other issue with the dock, there are some issues with dock upstream, but there should be log files in /tmp folder to check?

How to report debugging information of deepin?

Just use journalctl, for example, the following command will print all deepin related log messages since boot:

journalctl -b | grep -i 'deepin'

I've justi nstalled deepin -- it looks quite interesting but I am having trouble enjoying it because every time I type a key, the input seems to be doubled. so for instance, if I try to type "deepin" I will end up with "ddeeeeppiinn"  I have my main user logged in to a gnome session, and am tyring deeping with a test user in a second screen.  Anmy ideas what could be causing this?  it's impossible for me to search for an application or, for instance, restart the deepin guide, or search for applications with the keyboard.

OK, I fixed that keyboard problem --I had to change the keyboard settings to give a longer delay before repeating keys. 

Here's a second issue:  switching back bertween gnome and deepin is somewhat difficult, as gnome 3.14 doesn't seem to like the deepin gtk+ theme.  Is ther a way to tell deepin not to mess with settings that gnome has set manually? 

and finally:  when I log in to gnome (but not deepin!) I am now greeted by music.  I would like to tell my computer not to play that music -- can you advise me how to do that?

I get the exact same problem.
From a fresh install this happens when trying to run startdde.
If I try to use lightdm the screen simply freezes and I can't do anything else bu reboot from another terminal.
Any solution?

Lots of changes upstream so it would be best to remove all DDE related packages from pacman cache dir and reinstall/update.

New artwork and many other improvements... (in the future they're planing on replacing compiz with their own wm based on gala, but not just yet)

I just installed all the packages mentioned in the Wiki, edited .xinitrc, restarted and .. a nice picture + cursor. That's it.

As it failed, I reverted .xinitrc back to what I had (Openbox) and upon launching it strange things started to happen - I get two nm-applet and pasystray icons instead of one for each and the notification style has changed radically.

What is going on?

Sorry to hear that... you should be able to remove installed packages and get back to your Openbox setup without a problem though? DDE doesn't interfere with it.
If you've installed i686 packages. then as I said above, 'dde-daemon' doesn't build currently... (one bug report related to 'golang' was already filed upstream by FaSheng...)

There are many reasons. There's no point for TUs to waste their time and energy just yet... Deepin is changing frequently upstream and it still uses Compiz...
Besides, they base their distro on Ubuntu and because of that they use older version of gtk and their default theme looks really bad in archlinux which has the latest gtk...

Maybe when they finally move over to Gala and stabilize that?
