Re: September 2014 Screenshot thread

My typical bspwm setup. Borrowed heavily from earsplit, easyid, and marcosan, Thank you.

I finally made the switch from awesomewm, which I used for a year. I do miss the right click root menu, but myGtkMenu will be alright.

There are still some items to refine visually and functionally, but I'm really happy so far.

Nice! How do you get ncmpcpp to "split up" like that into multiple screens? Do you just split the window in tmux and start several instances of ncmpcpp or is there a way for ncmpcpp to do it itself? I haven't been able to figure out a way to do it within ncmpcpp itself.

And if you don't mind, would you share your ncmpcpp config and your xmonad config? Thanks in advance smile

Re: September 2014 Screenshot thread

Looks like tmux to me (there are two green horizontal dividers in the terminal window, vs. the white dividers in ncmpcpp).

Re: September 2014 Screenshot thread

You can lock a part of the screen in ncmpcpp with CTRL-L, it will ask you what portion of the screen you wanna lock, then you can hit TAB to split the application.

Believe me, you don't want to know what I've went through to give you this information xD. That's why I don't provide a link and let you google it yourself.

You most definitely are not mistaken! I hope you get to see that, that'd be unreal. Although you'd have a lot of envy from me!
