Hi,
The problem:
1) For both wired and wireless internet, my connection periodically drops and automatically restarts. It is down for anywhere between 1 and 30 seconds.
2) When loading webpages or following links, there is almost always a delay where it says it is loading and nothing happens - 5-10 seconds later the webpage connects and loads as fast as is normal. It's like my internet has trouble making connections, but once it has made them it is fine.
Hardware:
Killer e2200 Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.30)
Realtek RTL8723AE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC

Final attempt at receiving help.
I should mention I have looked through numerous threads, tried disabling ipv6 etc..

Anything suspicious in dmesg or the journal?

Try a different DNS server (Google's is 8.8.8.8).

Is your hostname set? (See both /etc/hosts and /etc/hostname)
Do Live-CDs present the same problem?

I'm having a similar issue here with a Macbook Pro... Network connections go completely unresponsive (Both Wi-Fi and Ethernet) then pick back up 30-45 seconds later.

The issue persists on the LTS Kernel and stock kernel, as well as previous kernels. Just started happening in the last few days.
