wireless doesn't work at boot but works manually

Hi,

when I boot my OS I cannot connect automatically to my wireless network.
However, after booting, I can do

sudo netctl start <my_interface>

and it works normally.

when I run systemctl I get this with red color:
netctl-auto@wlp3s0.service   loaded failed failed  Automatic wireless network connection using netctl profiles
++two lines about ethernet.

Any ideas?

Now I figured out that if I change the name of the interface it connects automatically as well but with the old name it is still unsolved...

++two lines about ethernet.

That's not an error message... Paste the actual message; in full.

Re: wireless doesn't work at boot but works manually

You asked for ideas, but you failed to post the complete error message. Now you are complaining that you aren't geting any help.

I'll type slowly so you can understand: paste. the. complete. error. message.

The output of `systemctl status -l netctl-auto@wlp3s0.service`... And please don't be such a help vampire.

my output is:

● netctl-auto@wlp3s0.service - Automatic wireless network connection using netctl profiles
   Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/netctl-auto@.service; enabled)
   Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Wed 2014-10-15 22:55:49 EEST; 40s ago
     Docs: man:netctl.special(7)
  Process: 616 ExecStart=/usr/bin/netctl-auto start %I (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)

thank you for this awesome link with the "help vampires"
I am still a noob but I will try my best not to be such thing.

Re: wireless doesn't work at boot but works manually

There should be more detail than that: have you truncated the output?

Look through the journal to find out why the service is failing. Make sure you do not have multiple service trying to manage your network.
