I am using Arch Linux 64 bit with latest updates installed (as of this time). I use KDE desktop with NetworkManager.
For the past few weeks, I've had this weird problem where the Ethernet connection to my router drops occasionally. The only way to get it to reconnect is to delete the connection from NetworkManager, unplug the cable and plug it back in. Then, the ethernet connection gets recreated in NetworkManager, except it defaults to manual IP address of 192.168.1.125 and IPv6 is disabled.
Before this problem started happening, the Ethernet connection was configured to get IP address, DNS from the router and IPv6 was also enabled.
