building brasero from aur fails

hi there,

building my favourite burning app brasero fails:

...

  gboolean result;
           ^

  CCLD brasero
/usr/bin/ld: eggsmclient-xsmp.o: undefined reference to symbol 'IceGetConnectionContext'
/usr/lib/libICE.so.6: error adding symbols: DSO missing from command line

Makefile:377: recipe for target 'all' failed
make: *** [all] Error 2
...
[vdr@vdr brasero-git]$ nm --print-file-name --defined-only --dynamic /usr/lib/libICE.so.6.3.0 | grep ceGetConnectionContext
/usr/lib/libICE.so.6.3.0:0000000000006980 T IceGetConnectionContext

i know it is a very old version, but my system is gtk3/kde free and this should continue to be the case smile

regards,lars

Re: building brasero from aur fails

gtk/kde free? I have no idea what you're building, then.

Re: building brasero from aur fails

He didn't say 'no gtk', but 'no gtk3' - https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/brasero2/ uses gtk2.

Re: building brasero from aur fails

Nothing, if it is not resolved in some way.
