Hi! I have problems with this video card: in games it is really slow with max qulity of textures. textures are downloaded step-by-step and takes a lot of time ( 10sec). and after download FPS is too small.
In Windows game with all max graphic settings are very fast and have high fps.
I tried delete old xconfig (from gt610) and install nvidia-beta, but they didn't help me.
also sometimes game is slow in 2560x1440 sometimes fast ( with low textures both).
before I run 'mkinitcpio -p linux' and installed nvidia-hook. I got xid errors: 13 and 69
I think problems with driver. what can you advise me?

I'm assuming you're using the proprietary driver. Make sure you have the 32 bit libraries if you're running a 32 bit game (most games off Steam are 32 bit... a few are 64 bit.) The package would be lib32-nvidia-libgl (and of course you'll also need plain nvidia-libgl.)
Also post the results of the following commands (you'll need mesa-demos package to run glxinfo)
$ glxinfo | grep OpenGL
$ glxinfo | grep "direct rendering"
$ lsmod | grep nvidia
$ lsmod | grep nouveauThe last command shouldn't return anything. That's checking to make sure nouveau didn't get loaded by mistake (the nvidia package should have a blacklist for it.)

That all looks like your driver is installed correctly. What games are you having problems with?
textures are downloaded step-by-step and takes a lot of time ( 10sec)
And I don't know what you mean there. Maybe try a real cross platform benchmark to give a fair test like one by Unigine.
http://unigine.com/products/benchmarks/
Make sure you select OpenGL in Windows for a fair test.

Star Conflict.
WIth max texture qulity in Linux I get image by pieces:
+1sec low textures for ship
+1sec low textures for another objects in scene
+1sec for medium textures above low
etc...
and after that the game like slideshow.
In windows I get all textures immedetily without any slidshow effect. if it helps I can record video on cell phone
is it possible to solve problem if i buy video card with another graphic chip?

Well if you look at the system requirements on Steam they recommend a Geforce 650 so yours falls below that (though it does meet the minimum requirments.)
As for why it works in Windows, unfortunately some games are just better optimized for Direct3D/Windows. You may have better luck if you want to upgrade to a better GPU. I would stick with Nvidia though as they have the best drivers.

Twice, it has frozen in a game after hibernation.
OR
It has frozen twice, in a game, after hibernation.

BIG thanks:)
I had same freezes before deleting xorg.conf. May be if I delete all possible graphic config files this decrease drivers errors?
usually, after reinstalling all packages, this help me with different bugs: 100%cpu Xorg, lack gtk icons. but now it doesn't take effect

With an Nvidia 8800 GTS, I've just been having something similar, in dhewm3 - from dmesg:
