MPlayer zoom problem after xorg7
When I tried to play a video with MPlayer,
Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device.showed up. I checked
xvinfoand the result
X-Video Extension version 2.2
screen #0
no adaptors presentAny help?

Try right click on the mplayer window, select preferences, go to video and try a different selection of video .....

It works with the X11 driver, but I can't change the size of the video, when changing to fullscreen mode, the video size is still the same.
what video driver do you use?
I'm using s3 savage

add
zoom="1"to ~/.mplayer/config (create the file if it doesn't exist)

I got a new problem now, the audio goes faster than the video in fullscreen mode, any help?

The config doesn't work

I'm having the same problem. My solution, which is not really a solution is to use VLC.
It doesn't install perfectly (it misses xvidcore) but it seems to handle the video better.
I would rather use MPlayer, but I'm using VLC until this thing gets fixed.
