HKP keyservers over SSL Problem

Hello,

I'm facing this problem for quite a long time and searching everywhere to find a solution to it but unfortunately there isn't a clear one.

Whenever I try to encrypt HKP, I receive this output:

tester@test-pc:~/Downloads$ sudo gpg --verify archlinux-2014.12.01-dual.iso.sig archlinux-2014.12.01-dual.iso

gpg: Signature made Mon 01 Dec 2014 06:00:57 AM CET using RSA key ID 9741E8AC
gpg: Can't check signature: public key not found

tester@test-pc:~/Downloads$ sudo gpg --recv-keys 9741E8AC
gpg: requesting key 9741E8AC from hkps server hkps.pool.sks-keyservers.net
gpgkeys: HTTP fetch error 1: unsupported protocol
gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found.
gpg: Total number processed: 0

Both ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf file and the one in /etc/pacman.d/ directory have the following lines:

...
keyserver hkps://hkps.pool.sks-keyservers.net
keyserver-options ca-cert-file=<path to sks-keyservers.netCA.pem>
...

I'm just confused and I need some clear solutions on this and let me know if you need more detailed info. about my problem.

Thank you in advance.
