Connecting to VPN with networkmanager-openswan

Hi,

I just installed networkmanager-openswan hoping I'll configure my VPN connection fast. Unfortunately it doesn't work. I just can't start VPN connection.
Is it worth trying to setup VPN using this plugin or I should just leave this idea and follow this wiki: IPsec_VPN_client_setup ?
