I have this hardware:
$ lspci -k | grep Network
02:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless 3160 (rev 83)
Like this thread I also cannot connect to my wifi since yesterday, after updating and restarting, but the logs show some difference. I have this report in journalctl:

I am sure that the passphrase I use is ok.
In order to resolve the issue, I have now disabled netctl and netctl-auto. The link is up:
$ ip link show wifi1
3: wifi1: <NO-CARRIER,BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP> mtu 1500 qdisc mq state DOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
link/ether 30:3a:64:1f:e5:a0 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
Then:
# wpa_supplicant -i wifi1 -c <(wpa_passphrase VrieslandBoppe2 MYPASSPHRASE)
Successfully initialized wpa_supplicant

Any help appreciated.

Argh.. Should have read the wiki better: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … leshooting. After disabling the n mode of the router, it finally worked. I have no clue why it suddenly started to be a problem though.. Anyway, glad it works again.
