I have arch ARM on a Raspberry Pi running shairport-sync, an airplay client to stream audio over the network from a mac computer/iDevices. As I understand it, shairport-sync uses avahi to do mDNS and publish the service on the local network.
Now, when the RasPi is connected to the wifi, it only shows up as an airplay device very inconstantly, when it does however, the connection works just fine, just like ssh runs stable all the time. When using ethernet on the RasPi, everything works like a charm. I can just guess that, for some reason, avahi/mDNS breaks when using wifi. Any ideas on how to figure that out or fix it?
Thanks!

Solved. Caused by powersave on the wifi-usb-adapter. See https://github.com/xbianonpi/xbian/issues/217 for the fix.
